JirĆ”ska school is the biggest school from four LanskrounĀ“s schools. Lanskroun has about 10 000 cizitens and is situated in the South West of the Czech republic near Polish border. Our school has got two buildings -  primary and secondary one. Because we live in a big industrial area so we try to concentrate on technic subjects and languages. We teach English from third grades 3 lessons/week. Students can choose from 7th grade English conversation club. From 2013 we use CLIL, from 2015 we have a native speaker as an asistant during teaching. From 8th grade we teach second language - German. Every year our students go abroad  - to U.K. and Germany as well.

Szkoła Podstawowa nr 9 in DzierżoniĆ³w Poland  is a middle-sized school located in a mountainous region in south-west Poland. It provides education not only for students from DzierżoniĆ³w, but from the nearest villages too. Currently, we have 483 pupils from 6 to 13 years old in 21 classes.  All the classes learn English as a second language. Our pupils come from different social levels and  some of their families get subsistence from a social  welfare program.
The school  is involved in numerous projects. Our school is a part of the network of Health Promoting Schools, a project supported by the Ministry of Education. Pupils of our school have participated in eTwinning projects being awarded European Quality Labels (19 projects) and National eTwinning Awards (four projects) for their excellent work.  Our school project "Discovering Europe with foreign languages" was also awarded with the European Language Label in 2006. In 2015 SP9 DzierżoniĆ³w was awarded with a certificate: ā€˜Top school of the Decade in Polandā€™ for involvement and  successful work on eTwinning projects (only 10 schools in Poland were awarded). Working on eTwinning project teachers use  CLIL in teaching proccess, as the projects have concerned science and nature, history, culture, handcrafts, safety on the Internet, travel, healthy lifestyle and ecology.
